How do I register?

Why do I need to register?
Registration carries no cost nor obligation to use our services. Instead, it complies with FCA rules and regulations so Cosmos can be an option for you.
Who needs to register?
If you are buying currency, its whoever’s name is on the bank account that sends the funds to us to convert for you. If the funds are in a personal account, then you register personally. If the funds are in any type of business account, even a sole trader account, then you need to register for a business account. Therefore, we always invite new clients to have a discovery call with us so we can guide you through the best and come up with a plan of action tailor-made to meet your individual requirements.
Are there any costs to opening or maintaining an account with Cosmos?
Registration is free of cost and carries no obligation to use our services. Instead, it complies with FCA rules and regulations so we can be an option for our client.

Why should I trust Cosmos with my money?
Firstly, Cosmos has decades of accumulated experience to help guide you to the best result possible for you within your chosen timeframe. Secondly, we only work with tier 1 partners who have the highest accreditation with the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), the UK regulator. All client funds, regardless of amount or currency denomination are always held in protected, client safeguarding bank accounts.
How can I transfer my money?
In addition to offering our clients access to over 35 currency accounts based in the UK that you can transfer funds to using online banking or by bank transfer, we also give our registered clients access to local collection accounts in New York (US Dollars); Calgary (Canadian Dollars) and Frankfurt (European Union wide) subject to our T&C’s. In addition, our USA based clients can transfer funds to us using the local ACH online banking system. Clients in Canada can use the local EFT payments system and EU based clients can use SEPA, the EU’s payment system. This helps our clients save more time and money by avoiding the hassle of having to go to the bank to arrange international funds transfers.
How long will it take for my money to credit the beneficiary bank account?
It will firstly depend on how long it takes you to settle with us. Once we receive your funds in settlement of our contract, we can usually send payments to bank accounts in the UK, Europe, USA, and Canada on the same day or on a next day basis. Other payments, because of time-zone differences, can take between 24-48 hours. We pride ourselves on our high level of customer service and communication so you will never be out of the loop.
Will you inform me when you have received my funds?
Yes, you will receive an email from us every time we receive funds from a registered client.
Will you inform me when you have sent my payment?
Yes, you will receive an email to confirm the details of every payment we make out of your account in full accordance with your instructions.
Can I cancel my currency contract with you?
All our currency contracts are legally binding so once you have instructed Cosmos to proceed, whether verbally, in writing or in person, your currency contract is not cancellable.
What steps do you take to protect my funds and contracts from fraud?
Firstly, we are only able to accept client instructions to enter a legally binding contract from fully registered clients. Secondly, we must always understand and approve any payment into us is in full accordance with FCA rules and regulations. Then, on receipt of client instructions as to where the beneficiary funds are going, we also security verify these details with a client before acting on them.
Are there a minimum / maximum number of payments or amounts when dealing with Cosmos?
No, Cosmos provides a relationship based, proactive personal service for all our clients, large or small, personal, or corporate.
What information do I need to receive or send a payment?
Depending on what currency you are sending, the requirements may differ, but we will guide you every step of the way.
Does Cosmos notify me when the exchange rate hits my target rate?
Absolutely. That is one of the Cosmos USPs. On a client completing their registration, we will add that account to our bespoke rate-alert program and carefully monitor the markets to alert our clients to opportunities within their chosen timeframe.

Yes, we can help our clients receive funds from and send funds to over 50 countries around the globe.
What about if I have an overseas client?
Can you help me receive payment from them? Yes, through our partners we can give Cosmos clients access to receive funds from over 50 countries around the world in over 35 currencies without the need for you to go through the hassle and expense of opening numerous currency accounts as you can simply access ours once you are fully registered and subject to our T&C’s.
